Dark skin vs Light skin - Nov 22,2012

The debate over dark and light skin to most seem very odd. But in the black community its a relevant topic due to the history of dividing black people by color. The first known division happened during slavery. The light skinned black slaves was allowed to work in the home,,while the dark skinned black slaves only could work in the field. Ever since this first division there has been a debate. On the dating scene black men feel they are choosing women based on physical attraction and character. Black men have been accused of being color struck. I want to discuss this topic and find out why color is still a issue
