2012 005 Conservative Latino Talk Radio discusses Latino and Mexican American identity. A lengthy comment from a "Mexican American" complaining that Mexican Americans fail to succeed in politics because we, he asserts, call ourselves "Latinos" and "Hispanic." I agree with his complaints but his conclusions are all wrong. While it is true, as the writer asserted, that "Mexican" is a bad word in Texas and other parts of this nation, what the writer described as "Mexican American" is actually a nationality when he really wanted to describe an ethnicity which could be "Ethnic Mexican." I commented on this effort to combat secularism in the western world through interconnected socialism, government healthcare and population control. The Chinese have reportedly successfully landing airplanes on a their own aircraft carrier. I conclude this is a major threat to America. Lastly, I mention the headline in USA Today that "Asian-Americans" assert that SB 1070 is bad not only for Latinos.
