STEVE SORA, researcher and author was born in Brooklyn, and lived in New York City and Long Island where he graduated C.W. Post. He started researching the Oak Island mystery in the 1980's and after several years of research and a handful of visits to the island, wrote the Lost Treasure of the Knights Templar which was published in 1999. He has authored four more books and over 100 articles since then. His latest book published in 2007, Triumph of the Sea Gods, questions the historical accuracy of the location of Troy and the wanderings of Ulysses. Steve has appeared in documentaries on the Knights Templar, the Holy Grail and the Oak Island Money Pit and participated in the DVD production for the Nicholas Cage film National Treasure and Illuminating Angels and Demons. He is a regular contributing author for Atlantis Rising and has written on topics as wide–ranged as the TV show LOST and the murder of William Shakespeare. He has been a guest on Whitley Streiber's Dreamland and Unknown Country radio programs, on the Dr. Bob Hieronymus show, the Laura Lee show, The Next Dimension, and American Freedom News.
