If you wonder why we are here with about a day left and there is still a cliff.... Blame the Republicans who are protecting the very wealthy from a 3% increase in their tax rate from their taxable income??? I am just saying....GREEEEEEEED! If it went to the House Floor than both Dems and Repubs could debate amend and vote. Boehner is denying the Democratic process. He is acting like a Dictator, he is the cog in the wheel.
