Republican governors are laying off public employees. Some are calling these political dilemmas of today, ugly politics. Republicans never wanted government jobs to be made available to minority citizens. It was President Kennedy who signed an executive order to insure that all Americans of all colors and all religions would have equal access to government employment. Today republican politician are busy firing government employees while trying to negotiate ways to privatize government. This is the way for politicians to get paid tax dollars from private industries for government contracts. Our system today does not give private companies the access the want into tax payers dollars, other than through bids which have a shelf life. Government layoffs are political payback for times past, and with the payback the GOP anticipate icing on the cakes, privatizing government. Be afraid!
