If one were to believe President Obama, Congressional Republicans want nothing more than to ruin your life. A while back Obama wanted an increase to the debt ceiling. In exchange, for the increase in borrowing the president was willing to accept automatic spending cuts in the event that congress was unable to come up with plan of their own. They didnt and he is about to get exactly what he wanted...except according to him its all the fault of "evil" Republicans. Obama has been in full campaign mode trying to convince you that the sky is falling and trying to convince you that the cuts...which arent really cuts at all since spending is actually increasing from last year, will be the ruin of us all.
