The Tea Party seemed to be the "it" thing a couple years back when they first burst on the scene. Republicans flocked to them in droves. The Tea Party contributed 28 of the 39 seats in 2010 that the GOP needed to take control of the House of Representatives. Today, only a handful of Republicans follow these extremist, anti-government, paranoid nutjobs and cater to their twisted agenda. To the detrement of the public, they hold America hostage to their ridiculous wants and demands. The current GOP infighting makes the Syrian civil war look like child's play. Thanks in large part to the Tea Party influence. Senators Marco Rubio, Rand Paul and Ted Cruz lead this crazy faction that's about to crash and burn. They'll become only footnotes in U.S. political history(if at all). The public backlash against Tea Party Republicans have been loud and clear. Where do we go from here as we soldier on into the 2014 Election season? Will it be the end of the GOP as we know it?
