People Demanding Action on Ending Homelessness with Donald Whitehead
Donald Whitehead is one of the country’s leading voices on homelessness. Over the last 20 years, he has advocated for and provided direct service to people experiencing homelessness. He was the Executive Director of The National Coalition for the Homelesss, and President of the Board. He is currently on the Board of Directors. He will welcome leaders, activists, celebrities, and elected officials to discuss ways to address the problem of involuntary homelessness in America. He welcomes Barbara Duffield and Evangelist L. Michelle Bush to this show.
Barbara Duffield is the Director of Policy and Programs for the National Association for the Education of Homeless Children and Youth (NAEHCY)--a national grassroots membership association dedicated to ensuring the schoolastic success of homeless children and youth. Ms. Duffield works closely with educators, service providers, federal agencies and Congressional offices to strengthen policy and practice for homeless children and youth.
Evangelist L. Michelle Bush was born, raised, and educated in Washington DC and Prince George’s County. She studied Accounting, Psychology & Christian Counseling at the Washington Bible College & Seminary. Bush obtained foundational biblical instruction at Calvary Bible Instituteand is one of the country's leading career training & transition experts. She has more than 19 years of progressive professional experience in Operations & Finance, Training & Recruitment, Curriculum Design, and Program Management. She is the President & Founder of Live It, Inc., and Principal of Princess Street East, LLC.
